Mrs. Delia Bush Zehr, 65, died just before noon Tuesday in the Lewis County General hospital where she had been confined for the past four weeks. The daughter of Michael and Mary Egloff Bush, Mrs. Zehr was born Oct. 23, 1881 on the Bush homestead in Kirschnerville, Town of New Bremen, where she has lived all her life. Her first husband, Michael Turck, died in 1905. In 1925 she married Benjamin Zehr, who survives. Mrs. Zehr was a member of St. Stephen's Church in Croghan. Body was brought to the Virkler funeral home in Lowville and taken to the home late Tuesday afternoon. Services will be at 9:15 a. m. in the home followed by a requiem mass at 10 a. m. in St. Stephen's church, Croghan. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Besides her husband, surviving are two children of her first marriage, a daughter, Mrs. Sherwood Joynt of Montille, Conn., and her son, Alvin Turck of Luden, N. H.; one brother, Bernard Bush, Kirschnerville; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren."
