AARON E. YOUSEY WATERTOWN -- Services for Aaron E. Yousey, 74, formerly of 118 N. Indiana Ave., who died in this city Tuesday, will be 'at 2 p.m. Friday at the Reed Benoit Funeral Home.

Mrs. Edith A. Virkler Yousey, 79, widow of Aaron E. Yousey, died Monday evening in the Leehaven Nursing home. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Arlon Z. (Elizabeth) Lehman, Carthage, and Mrs. Sam G. (Doris OKeyes), two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; brother, Clarence Virkler, two sisters, Mrs. D. K. (Ollie) Briggs, and Mrs. Clifford (Mabel) Yarrington, and a half-sister, Mrs. Charles (Leona Riffanacht) Yarrington. A half-brother, Joseph Riffanacht of Vestal, died at Vestal in November, 1965. Her husband, a one-time employe of the old flour and feed store of A. Herrick & Sons, Inc., here, died in the same nursing home April 16, 1963, at the age of 74. Mrs. Yousey was born at Castoriand Feb. 21, 1889, a daughter of Solomon and Sarah Zahn Virkler. Her father died when she was a child and her mother later was married to John Riffanacht. Moving to Carthage as a child, Mrs. Yousey was graduated from the Carthage High school and the Carthage Teachers' Training class and subsequently taught school in the Carthage rural schools. She was married to Aaron E. Yousey of Jerden Falls Nov. 9, 1910 in Carthage After their marriage, they lived on a farm they purchased on the Great Bend Champion road. They moved to Watertown from the farm in 1929. She was a member of the First Baptist church and its Women's society and also of Jefferson Chapter, 406, Order of Eastern Star. Burial will be in North Watertown cemetery
