Maurice "Pete" was a volunteer fire fighter for Dexter, NY & He also worked in the mill in Dexter.

He had one son Robert William Wilson, 4 Granddaughters: Evelyn Dawn Wilson Beauvais, Roberta Lynn Wilson, Pamela Diane Wilson Langley, M D B, and 1 grandson: R D B, 6 great-granddaughters, 4 great-grandsons.

Dexter- Gladys A. Wilson, 90, Grants Pass, Ore., formerly of Dexter, died Tuesday at her home.

 

Born Gladys Bowen on Jan. 2, 1909, in Croghan, she lived in Dexter for most of her life and moved to Grants Pass from California in 1995.

 

She married Maurice C. Wilson on Sept. 6, 1929. Mr. Wilson died in Nov. 28, 1983.

 

Mrs. Wilson was a member of both Dexter United Presbyterian Church and the Rebekah Lodge for 50 years.

 

Surviving are a son, Robert W., Grants Pass; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

 

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 8 in Dexter Cemetery with the rev. Deborah DeBoer, pastor of Dexter United Presbyterian Church, officiating.

 

Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home.
