Mary Marvin was born circa 1628 in Great Bentley, Essex, England. She was baptized on 16 December 1628 in Great Bentley, Essex, England. She immigrated with Matthew Marvin and Elizabeth Marvin in 1635 to Hartford, Connecticut. She married Richard Bushnell, son of Francis Bushnell and Ferris Quenell, on 11 October 1648 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. She married Deacon Thomas Adgate. Her husband, Deacon Thomas Adgate, died at age 87 years on 21 July 1707 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut. She died on 29 May 1713 in Norwalk, New London County, Connecticut.
