Henry Gregory was the immigrant ancestor of the Gregory family in America. He was called "of Boston." He is found in the records of Springfield in 1639. After a few years he removed to Stratford, Connecticut. Henry is also named in his brother William's will in 1650. [1] He passed away shortly after that, apparently, because his estate was distributed 19 June 1665. His eldest son, John, was the administrator and the only child mentioned in the will. John received a double portion of the estate. There was possibly another son named Judah Gregory. He is found in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1643 when he married Sarah Burt.
