probably son of Joan ( ) Busshenell, styled widow in Subsidy Roll dated 15 Jan. 1524, of Tilehurst, wife not mentioned in will dated 31 Aug. 1563, proved 15 Apr. 1564, rec. Archd. Berks, E-312.
In his will he expressed his desire to be buried in Tylehurst churchyard, and bequeathed to son John, a cow, a brass pot, a kettle, and one-half his tools; son William a bullock, a sheep, an old pan and one-half his tools; dau. Alice a cow, a pot and a kettle; dau. Joan two bullocks, a heifer, a kettle, and a gown; servant Joan Pinke a petticoat cloth and as much wool as will make her a pair of hosen. Resid. Log. were his ch. John, Alice, and Joan, Exec. his son William, Overseers; William Corder and John Curtys, Wit. Sir John Pullirit (?) Curate of said ch. and Richard Dewin, Inv. (no date), £7, 8s, 8d. Prov. by the Exec. 15 Apr. 1564.
