NEW BREMEN- Fannie W. Lyndaker, 91, SR 812, died Thursday evening at her home while under the care of her family and Lewis County Hospice.

 

Fannie was born September 9, 1921, in the Town of Harrisburg to Joel and Rachel Gingerich Widrick.

 

She attended Town of Harrisburg schools. She married Ednor Lyndaker at the Lowville Conservative Mennonite Church on October 15, 1941. Mr. Lyndaker died August 20, 2006. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Crystal Light Mennonite Church.

 

She enjoyed gardening, visiting with relatives and friends and embroidery.

 

She is survived by two sons and their wives, Milford and Carolyn, Wardensville, WV; Arthur and Emma, Plain City, OH; and three daughters, Shirley, Joanne and Barbara, all of New Bremen. She is also survived by a brother and his wife, John and Rita, Syracuse; two sisters, Sally Cooper, Copenhagen; Barbara Brown, Lowville, and a brother in law, Ralph Zehr, Belfort. She has seven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Three brothers, Milford, Lloyd and Arthur, and a sister Arlene Zehr died before her.
