Mrs. Clara Johnson Zehr, widow of

the late Joseph Zehr, a former resident of this place, died at 1 o'clock

Friday afternoon at the home of her

daughter, Mrs. Clinton Dewey, In

Rochester, where she had,, lived for

the past ten years. Mrs. Zehr had

been in ill health for some time with

cancer of the liver. The remains were

brought to this village Monday afternoon and services were conducted

from the Methodist Episcopal church

at 2:30, Rev. E. H. Scott, pastor of

the church, officiating. Burial in Beaver Falls cemetery Mrs. Zehr was

born at Indian River about 71 years

ago, a daughter of Warren D. and

Sabrina Johnson. Mrs. Zehr is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Clinton Dewey, Mrs. Roy Lewis and Mrs. Milton Crissy, all of Rochester.
