John A. Korbe, Brush, died Tuesday night, June 21 at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center.
He was born March 1, 1913 in Kansas to Peter an Rosa Korbe.
In 1937, he married Catherine Neb in Sterling. Prior to retirement he was a farmer.
Survivors include four daughters, Mary Larsen of Brush, Ann Sparhawk of Bend, Ore., Catherine Harmon of Commerce City, and Carol Smith of Sterling; six sons, Don Korbe of Denver, Paul Korbe of Greeley, John Korbe Jr., Grand Junction, Robert Korbe of Hattiesburg, Miss., Leonard Korbe of Thornton, and Jack Korbe of Emory, Texas; three sisters and one brother, 28 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1957, his parents, and three brothers.
Funeral services were Monday June 27, at the Heer Mortuary Chapel. Interment followed in the Riverside Cemetery in Sterling.
