Simon W. Lehman, 73, died March 2T, 1949, in the home of his son-inlaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Moshier, Lowville-Beaver Falls

road, New Bremen. He had been in ill health for five years.

Born June 19, 1870, in the town of Croghan, he was the son of Peter and Katherme Widnck Lehman. On March 23, 1899, he married the former Miss Catherine Zehr. Since her death in 1922 he resided at -the Moshier home. Mr. Lehman was a retired farmer and spent his lifetime in this vicinity.

He leaves his daughter, two brothers,. Daniel, Croghan, and Andrew, Deer River; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held at 1 p. m. Wednesday from the Moshier home and -at 7:30 from the First Mennomte church, New Bremen, with the Rev. Gordon Schrag officiating. Burial was made in the Amish cemetery, Croghan

Died at Beaver Falls, July 5, 1932. Mrs. Katherine M. Lehman, 57, wife of Simon Lehman, Beaver Falls, died about 4:30 a. m. Tuesday at her home. Death resulted from pneumonia. Mrs. Lehman was born May 7, 1875, at Indian River, daughter of Michael and Catherine Martin Zehr.

She is survived by her husband, Simon Lehman, her mother, Mrs. M. C. Zehr; one daughter, Mrs. Jacob Moshier, and one grandson, all of Beaver Falls; four sisters, Mrs. Christopher Lehman, New Bremen; Mrs. Joseph Yousey, Beaver Falls; Mrs. Harold Chaffee, Naumburg, and Mrs. Burton Thompson, Worth, and four brothers, John, Beaver Falls; Benjamin, Croghan; Joseph, Indian River, and Michael, Aldin. Funeral services will be held from the Amish church, Croghan, at 10 a.m., Friday. Burial will be in Croghan cemetery.

She was the writer of many poems of the Mennonite children and adults after their death.
